Working hard on your behalf...

Good evening all. I hope you all managed to complete the 'Letter to Daniel' activities today. Tomorrow you will be writing really mini essays on it - please don't be put off if some of the ideas seem unfamiliar to you - I'm looking for original and interesting ideas, not a regurgitation of what I've talked about in class.

Today I have been mostly blogging and podcasting. There is a link below to a podcast of me and a colleague reciting part of the balcony scene, complete with cheesy music. Get it on your mp3 players now! If you don't know how, drop me a comment please,

See you Monday - get all outstanding personal study notes in, and remember that writing pieces are due by the end of next week. We are doing a Close Reading NAB on Monday, and if you're not there, we won't have a valuable piece of evidence in case you need to appeal.

  • Have you ever had any actual student work posted as a comment on your blog - so that you could comment on it in turn? i'm currently doing this with two S-Grade english students.

  • Hi Chris,

I haven't doen that with this blog- I was really testing the water to see how effective this style of blog has been. It's been very useful, and yes, in future, I will be having pupil work posted on my class blogs. There are of course issues of pupil anonymity, and our pupils don't all have web access, but I think it's worth a try.

Please let me know how you get on!
